In 1999, Paul Hulea became seventh Mahoning Valley coach to lead a public school to a state title when the Poland Bulldogs captured the crown.

In 13 years since, no public school team in the Valley has claimed a state football title.

In May, more than 800 high school principals will decide the future of Ohio high school sports.

How does Hulea feel?
