Director receives service award

John Hostetler of Columbiana, director of quality assurance for Northeast Ohio Adoption Services, received the statewide 2012 Outstanding Service award at the National Association of Social Workers, Ohio Chapter Conference, on Nov. 29 at the Quest Conference Center.

He has served on the Ohio Chapter Ethics Committee for nine years, chairing it for two. Hostetler has 38 years of social work experience, starting as director of permanency planning for NOAS in 1998. In 2009 he was asked to serve on a National Professional Review Task Force.

He and his wife, Molly, have raised two children.
