Youngstown court consolidation OK'd by Senate, 26-6

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Senate approved a bill today to eliminate a seat on the Youngstown Municipal Court.

The vote was 26-6. It passed last week in the Ohio House.

Youngstown Mayor Charles Sammarone said eliminating the position was solely a monetary decision.
