MYCAP offering beginners computer classes

YOUNGSTOWN — Mahoning-Youngstown Community Action Partnership’s Center for Family and Economic Success is offering free basic computer and Internet training for Mahoning County adults 18 and older who have no computer knowledge or skills.

There will be three different classes at MYCAP, 1325 Fifth Ave.: Tuesday through Thursday, and two will be offered Dec. 17-19. Preregistration is required. Call Kim Omoregie, self-sufficiency planner at MYCAP, at 330-747-7921, ext. 1190.

The training is made possible through the Every Citizen Online grant from Connect Ohio.

The three-session classes are: “Introduction to Computers,” “Microsoft for Beginners,” and “Introduction to the Internet.”
