Students to aid kids with cancer

SHARON, PA.

Penn State students are sponsoring the second annual THON spaghetti fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 14 at Penn State Shenango auditorium to support kids with cancer.

THON is a student-run philanthropy.

Dinner will include spaghetti and meatball, salad, bread and butter, and cake.

Tickets may be purchased in advance for $8 or at the door for $10. Tickets for children and senior citizens are $5. For advanced tickets stop in the Penn State Students Affairs Office in Sharon Hall on Penn Avenue.

There also will be a basket raffle. Each purchased dinner will include one raffle ticket. Raffle tickets also may be purchased at $5 for a sheet of 25.
