50th anniversary of Barrys is a party occasion

Don and Joann Barry of Austintown celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding at a party for family and close friends June 2 at the Fair Park Rotary Community Building in Canfield. Mr. Barry and the former Joann Seidner were married on that date in 1962 at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. The couple’s daughter, Michele Kisthardt of Hudson, Ohio, hosted the event. The family includes three grandchildren: Laura, Matt and Jackie Kisthardt.

The couple both are retired from the Snyder Bentley Company of Youngstown. They are members of St. Michael Church in Canfield and are regular participants at Mass at St. Theresa Monastery in Youngstown.

The couple are active in the Youngstown Playhouse, YMCA of Boardman, Ohio Cultural Association and the Victorian Theatre.
