Youngstown Orthopaedic Saturday sports clinic

Youngstown Orthopaedic Associates’ Saturday sports clinics, geared specifically to fall sports student-athletes in need of immediate attention to sports injuries, has started. The clinics run from 9-11 a.m. every Saturday.

These clinics are open to players involved in football, volleyball, soccer, golf and other high school and college sports. They are held at the practice’s Building A at the northwest corner of Tippecanoe Road and Boardman-Canfield Road in Canfield. More information is available at www.youngstownortho.com.

MetroParks to host girls volleyball clinic

Mill Creek MetroParks will be hosting a girls volleyball clinic for ages 11-14 on Sept. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., instructed by Walsh University’s first team all-conference former volleyball player, Natalie Borland.

There will be one-on-one instruction on perfect serving, passing, hitting, blocking skills, and more. Bring water and a packed lunch. The fee is $15 for Mahoning County residents and $18 for non-residents. The clinic will be located at the new sand volleyball courts at Wick Recreation Area, 1861 McCollum Road, Youngstown, OH 44509.
