Mike Boccia donates $5,000 for lock boxes

Mike Boccia of Poland and co-founder and CEO of MedSafe, Inc., donated $5,000 to Drug Free America Foundation’s Operation: Medication Lockbox Giveaway campaign.
Boccia’s donation helped purchase 50 lock boxes, which were given out at several Walgreens Aug. 13 in an attempt to encourage people to lock up their medications to prevent injuries from medication abuse.
“Anyone can be affected. It’s a huge epidemic. Kids are overdosing and using medication at home. Locking up medications would completely eradicate the problem. For me to be able to do something is fantastic. We’re just trying to raise money from donations and sponsorships. We’d love to keep the program going,” Boccia said.
