Canfield Rotary Club honors scholarship recipients

The Rotary Club of Canfield sponsored a lunch for the winners of several Rotary-sponsored scholarships and their parents. Honorees included Kelly Rantilla, Kaitlyn Dastioli, Caroline Bennett, Maggie Breshnahan and Aaron Graneto.

Breshnahan and Bennett were both given scholarships that honor local individuals who have made significant contributions to the Rotary Club over the years.

Graneto was given the Interact Scholarship. This award recognizes the efforts and contributions of the Canfield High School Interact Club to the community around them.

The Rotary has a long history of supporting local youth and their community efforts by sponsoring scholarships, partnering with youth groups in their service projects, and sponsoring the high school Interact Club.

Scholarship committee member, Tom Danko, and Canfield Rotary president, Michael Raulin, made the presentations.
