Woman’s boyfriend charged in tot death

SALTSBURG, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man is behind bars charged in the death of his girlfriend’s 16-month-old son earlier this year.

Court records say 28-year-old Shawn Anderson-Holmes was arraigned Tuesday night in the March 5 death of Colby Jozefczyk at a home in Saltsburg, Indiana County.

Investigators say the boy appeared malnourished and had bruises on his head and arms at the time of his death. Police say Jozefczyk was “cold to touch and blue” when police arrived following a late-night 911 call from the boy’s mother.

Anderson-Holmes faces a single charge of criminal homicide and is being held without bail. Court records don’t list an attorney for him.

Anderson-Holmes had reportedly been living at the home for about five days at the time of the boy’s death.
