Willie Doll Jarrett of Youngstown and Jimmie Hendrix of Hubbard exchanged wedding vows at 4:30 p.m. June 16 in Christ Centered Church.
The Revs. Kenneth and Leta Paramore officiated, and a reception followed at St. Charles Church Hall, Boardman.
The bride wore an heirloom gown.
Her granddaughter, Jakia Estest, was her maid of honor, and matron of honor was Vielinda Baker. Bridesmaids were Beyonce Briggs, KaLiyah Long, Whitney Hendrix, Laniya Lewis, Deceni Cooper, Imani Norris, Siera Jean Baptiste and Kierra Armstrong. The flower girl was Daphne Hendrix.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s son, Nakia Hendrix, and William Eldridge. Groomsmen were Nikolas Hendrix, Isaiah Cochran, Jordan Williams, David Cole, Amenophis Norris, Demonye Estest and LawaLyn Lewis Jr. The ring bearer was Jaeyvonn Wright, and ushers were Frederick Faucet and Omar AsLam.
The bride is retired from General Electric, and the groom is a retired bricklayer.
The couple plan to travel the western United States next year.
