Violence is incomprehensible

Violence is incomprehensible

I am in total disbelief. Total shock. The recent violence and killings on Youngstown streets (Vindicator, Aug. 22.) are totally incomprehensible to me and other law-abiding citizens. It must stop now.

How we can stand by and let this kind of behavior continue is mind-numbing. The loss of Bryce Linebaugh, an innocent 8-year-old, is as barbaric as the mind can imagine. I beg, I implore Mayor Charles Sammarone, police Chief Rod Foley and others in charge to act immediately. Call in the National Guard. Call in the Ohio State Patrol. Sweep our streets clean of the vermin responsible for these acts. These dregs of society must be eliminated.

They only understand the language of the streets — force. Deal with them accordingly. They are nothing more than mindless animals who don’t deserve to exist. The worst thing that can happen now is that we do nothing. In a few days or a few weeks, people forget.

And it goes on and on and on. It’s our responsibility to do the right thing. The right thing is to act now.
