TMHA to receive $1M for YouthBuild

The Trumbull Metropolitan Housing Authority will receive $1,035,000 in YouthBuild funding from the U.S. Department of Labor.

YouthBuild provides educational and occupational training for at-risk Ohioans between the ages of 16 and 24, according to U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown of Avon, D-Ohio.

The Trumbull County award is among six in Ohio announced this week.

The others, each for a similar amount of money, were in Cincinnati, Dayton, Canton, Fremont McArthur and Sandusky County.
