Taylor-Winfield Technologies Inc. gets $100,000 city grant

YOUNGSTOWN

The city’s board of control approved a $100,000 grant to Taylor-Winfield Technologies Inc., which is spending $2 million to relocate its administrative and engineering offices to the Salt Springs Business Park.

The board approved the grant today, two weeks after giving Taylor-Winfield, a metalworking-machinery company, a 75-percent, 10-year real-property tax abatement.

The company is renting space in Hubbard for 34 full-time and 3 part-time administrative and engineering employees. The company is building a 16,500-square-foot facility next to its metalworking machinery business at the Salt Springs Business Park location. That facility employs 40.
