Julie Fitzgerald and Lawrence Frangos Jr., both of Poland, were united in marriage June 2, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. The afternoon ceremony was solemnized by the Rev. Andoni Callozzo, and a reception took place at the Culinary Arts Center, Boardman.

The bride is the daughter of Hubert and Kathleen Fitzgerald of Poland.

Parents of the groom are Lawrence Frangos Sr. and Kathy Frangos, also of Poland.

The bride’s gown was an ivory silk organza strapless A-line with a sweetheart neckline and a lace bodice.

Bridal attendants wore black and ivory dresses. Kelly Stilson was matron of honor for her sister. Flower girls were Abigail and Mallory Stilson, nieces of the bride.

Christopher Frangos, brother of the groom, performed the duties of best man. Ring bearer was Nicholas Amadio, nephew of the groom.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in education in counseling from Youngstown State University. She is employed by Preferred Care Counseling of Poland as a licensed professional clinical counselor.

Mr. Frangos received a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from YSU. He is employed by Odyssey Environmental LLC of Youngstown as vice president and manager of operations.

After a trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple are residing in Poland.
