Colleen Elizabeth Casey and Jacob Michael Rohrer, both of Arlington, Va., were joined in marriage May 26 at The Church of Christ the Good Shepherd, Holy Name of Jesus. The afternoon ceremony was solemnized by Monsignor Peter Polando. A reception was provided by Mr. Anthony’s at the Maronite Center, Meridian Road.

The bride is the daughter of Vincent Sr. and Susan Casey, both of Youngstown. Parents of the groom are Larry and Deanna Rohrer, both of Fort Dodge, Iowa.

The bride’s gown was a white A-line strapless gown with radial pleating and a beaded design on the bodice. The back of the gown consisted of asymmetrical pleating of lace with a custom bow with crystal/metallic accents and was completed by a pleated chapel train.

The maid of honor, Sarah Cornman, wore a teal gown. Aqua gowns were worn by other attendants, Laura and Kimberly Sefcik, cousins of the bride; Jessica Koncsol; Karla and Lia Kovalchik; Megan Goodoien; and Megan Mead. Gabriella Koncsol, goddaughter of the bride, was the flower girl.

Joey Williams performed the duties of best man. Other groomsmen were Mark Kozitka; Nate Rohrer, brother of the groom; Vincent Casey Jr., brother of the bride; Dan Taylor, Zach Walker, Nick Cochrane and Paul Lorentson. Ushers were Ben Porter and Jordan Vernoy.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in political science from George Washington University.

Her husband received a bachelor’s degree in leisure, youth and human services from the University of Northern Iowa. He is serving with the Iowa Air National Guard.

The couple are analysts for the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.

After a wedding trip to Thailand, the couple are residing in Arlington, Va.
