Oct. nuptials set by Miss Stevens, Mr. Taormina

Pompano Beach, Fla.

Former Boardman residents Arthur E. III and Michele Stevens of Pompano Beach are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Leah Stevens of Philadelphia, to Francesco Taormina, also of Philadelphia.

Salvatore and Margaret Taormina of Norristown, Pa., are the parents of the future groom.

The couple are planning a 5 p.m. ceremony Oct. 19 and a reception to follow, both at Gervasi Vineyards in Canton, Ohio. Invitations are being issued.

Miss Stevens received a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising from California State University, Long Beach. She is a buyer of women’s apparel for Urban Outfitters in Philadelphia.

Mr. Taormina received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and advertising from Cabrini College. He is a wine sommelier for Majestic Wine & Spirits in Philadelphia.
