Presentation on foreclosures, bank 'walkaway' homes Wednesday in Warren

WARREN — The Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership will give a public presentation on foreclosures and “bank walkaway” homes featuring Atty. Zachariah Germaniuk at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Raymond John Wean Foundation offices, 147 W. Market St., on Courthouse Square.

Germaniuk, a graduate of Cleveland Marshall College of Law, will discuss state law regarding foreclosures and nuances that can be used by community groups and local governments to help with foreclosure homes.

Leah Ifft, a foreclosure-prevention advocate for Empowering and Strengthening Ohio’s People, will give information on the loan-modification process and give other assistance.

Trumbull County Land Bank staff will answer questions about bank walkaways. The event is free.
