Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home- delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is located at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY

Wednesday, Aug. 29: Turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, spinach, fruit juice, wheat bread and milk.

Thursday, Aug. 30: Chicken patty, Italian beans, spaghetti, unsweetened applesauce, grape juice, wheat bread and milk.

Friday, Aug. 31: Meatballs with buttered noodles and gravy, oriental veggies, unsweetened fruit, rye bread, apple juice and milk. Extra meal will be delivered for the holiday.

Saturday, Sept. 1: Turkey and ham on a bun, unsweetened fruit, carrots with ranch dressing, fruit juice and milk.

Monday, Sept. 3: Office closed for Labor Day.

Tuesday, Sept. 4: Turkey burger on a bun, au gratin potatoes, broccoli, unsweetened peaches and milk.

MAHONING COUNTY

Wednesday, Aug. 29: Cheese ravioli, carrots, green beans, unsweetened pears, Italian bread, gelatin and milk.

Thursday, Aug. 30: Pork loin with gravy, seasoned potato, broccoli, unsweetened applesauce, bread with honey, angel food cake, orange juice and milk.

Friday, Aug. 31: Turkey breast on a bun, tossed salad, carrot-raisin salad, unsweetened fruit, orange juice, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk. Extra meal will be delivered for the holiday.

Saturday, Sept. 1: Ham, tossed romaine salad, three-bean salad, fresh orange, gelatin, cookie, bread and milk.

Monday, Sept. 3: Offices closed for Labor Day.

Tuesday, Sept. 4: Beef patty, baked potato, green peas, unsweetened peaches, cookie, oatmeal bread and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 12 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal. To make a reservation or for more information, call 330-675-2486.
