The Poland girls volleyball team is looking to improve on last season’s 10-12 record with several returning players.

With the loss of Mackenzie Mulligan to graduation, coach Sarah Gerberry believes the seniors on this year’s team will help lead the younger members to success.

Returning team members include sophomores Aleah Hughes and Arlia Duarte, junior Allison Berend, and seniors Kayla Smith and Abbey Jones.

New to the team this year are sophomore Chloe Bush and Bailey Bury and junior Mirhanda Hennenman, who will play a key role.

“I expect the ACC (All-American Conference) will be very competitive.” said Gerberry. “Each team will have the chance to compete and this year, Canfield will be the team to beat.”
