Guilford Lake association to meet Thursday

LISBON

The Guilford Lake Civic Association will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Guilford Lake Ruritan Hall, 33554 state Route 172.

Guest speakers include Matt Backhaus, who will announce counts and types of fish found in the recent shocking of area lakes, and Matthew Smith, who will present a slide show of scenic rivers in Northeast Ohio.

The public is encouraged to attend, as well as anyone interested in the possibility of Columbia Gas expanding its services to the Guilford Lake area.
