Animal Welfare plans motorcycle fundraiser

Animal Welfare League will host its eighth annual motorcycle run, The Long & The Short of It, on Sunday, rain or shine.

The run begins and ends at DiVieste Banquet Hall, 754 N. River Road NW.

The ride focuses on the shortest covered bridge and the longest covered bridge in the country and will include a stop at a local winery.

Registration will take place from 10:30 am. to noon; the registration fee is $15 per driver and $10 per passenger.

All bikes will be out at noon, and the last bike will be in at 5 p.m.

The run includes breakfast and dinner, door prizes, a 50-50 raffle and a basket auction.

A live auction will feature a $350 motorcycle light set with installation and a $200 OSU logo chair.
