8th annual Rusyn Day picnic planned

BURTON, OHIO

The 8th annual Carpatho-Rusyn Vatka Rusyn Day picnic will take place from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday at Shrine of Mariapoch, 17486 Mumford Road.

Rusyn food, music, children’s activities, genealogy and sales will be included. A Slavonic liturgy and Panachida for deceased relatives by Byzantine and Orthodox priests is planned at 4 p.m. The event will take place rain or shine. Admission is free.
