Legacy awards nominees are announced


Nominees were announced recently for the 2012 Valley Legacy Awards. Now in its eighth year, the annual event honors civic-minded seniors and senior advocates for their contributions to the Mahoning Valley.

The 29 nominees will be recognized at a luncheon Oct. 11 at Avion on the Water, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield, where awards will be presented to six outstanding seniors and one outstanding advocate for seniors.
