2 evenings to help elderly with medicine

The Fifth annual Ava Mar Foundation Benefit, An Evening Under the Stars, will be hosted by Dr. Farid Naffah on Friday and Saturday outdoors at Cadobaz (Culture, Arts and Dining of Bazetta), 2747 Cadwallader-Sonk Road.

The event will feature acoustic guitarist Phil Keaggy and artist Tazim Jeffer. Hors d’oeuvres will be served at 5 p.m. and dinner at 7 provided by Michael Alberini.

The cost is $175 for a single ticket, $275 for a single silver VIP, $1,400 for table of 8 gold sponsor or $2,200 for table of 8 platinum sponsor. Costs may be tax deductible. For tickets call 330-539-9999.

Proceeds will help pay for prescription costs for the elderly.
