Blessed Sacrament Parish, 3020 Reeves Road NE, Warren, will host a casino night and Texas Hold’em Sept. 8 at the parish’s Covelli Gymnasium. Doors open at 5 p.m.; play begins at 5:30. In addition to $1,300 in chips with a $50 buy-in, there is a 60 percent payout. Those who register by Sept. 6 will receive an extra $200 in chips. Leetonia Artisans Festival Committee is seeking arts, crafts, antiques and collectibles vendors for the 27th annual show, set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 23, rain or shine, at Leetonia Wick Park on Walnut Street. RAFFLES
Ohio State University Alumni Club of Trumbull and Mahoning Counties is announcing its annual benefit football ticket raffle. The grand prize is two President’s Club season football tickets good for all eight home games. Second prize is two tickets to the University of Miami home opener Sept. 1. Raffle tickets are $20 each or three for $50; only 600 tickets will be sold. Proceeds will benefit the club’s scholarship fund. Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., North Lima, is seeking vendors for its community yard sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 15 (rain date is Sept. 22) in the church front yard on Route 164. Damascus United Methodist Church, 300 Valley Road, is accepting donations for its annual rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Fill a brown paper bag for $4 all day Friday and until noon Saturday. Then fill a paper bag for $1 until closing. Larger items will be priced separately. Proceeds will support local missions of the Damascus United Methodist Women. A bake sale and lunch bar will be available.
Immaculate Heart of Mary will have its annual Treasures in Your Trunk Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 15 in the church parking lot, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown. Junior Women’s League of Canfield is recruiting vendors for the 43rd annual Fall Market on the Canfield Village Green. This year’s event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 15. TRIPS
Mahoning Valley Italian Society Inc. is sponsoring a trip to Meadows Casino on Sept. 10. The bus will load at 8:30 a.m. and leave at 9 from the back parking lot of St. Joseph the Provider, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. The return loading will be at 4 p.m., and the bus will leave by 4:15.
