First Night to have ice cream social

YOUNGSTOWN

First Night Youngstown will have a concert and ice cream social from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at St. Patrick’s Church hall, 1420 Oak Hill Ave.

Seraphim Chorus will perform songs from its summer concert, “Give Me That Old Time Religion — A Celebration of Gospel Music.” Handel’s will provide an ice cream sundae bar with vanilla ice cream and an array of toppings.

Band will perform at mall art gallery

NILES

The Jam Band will perform at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Art Outreach Gallery in Eastwood Mall. The band, which consists of Niles McKinley High School graduates Peter Burger and William Lauth and Champion High grad Dean Seifert, plays a mix of blues, funk and jazz.

Art Outreach Gallery is in the concourse between Macy’s and Sears. Admission is free.
