Last week: The Trumbull County native finished 36th in the Finger Lakes 355 at Watkins Glen. He started 31st before a suspension problem ended his day after 41 laps in the 90-lap race.

Season to date: Blaney is 33rd in the Sprint Cup standings with 284 points in 21 starts. He has earned $1,929,020.

Today: Blaney qualified 42nd (owner’s points) for the Pure Michigan 400. The race is at noon (ESPN, WBBG-FM 106.1).
