Daileys celebrate 40th anniversary by renewing vows in special Mass

YOUNGSTOWN

Tom and Marlene Dailey of Youngstown marked their 40th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows at St. Columba Cathedral in a special June anniversary Mass. The Mass included 150 couples from the Youngstown Diocese who were celebrating milestone anniversaries.

Later, on their actual anniversary date of July 29, the Daileys again renewed their vows at St. Christine Church in the presence of family and friends.

The couple were married at St. Christine’s on July 29, 1972.

Mrs. Dailey retired from Youngstown State University after 38 years of service, most recently as an administrative assistant in the office of the provost.

Mr. Dailey works as a special needs aide with Canfield Local Schools.
