Wanted: volunteer builders for Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of Northern Columbiana County invites members of the community to participate in a day of building Sept. 11 at 317 E. Fourth St.

The event will also include ceremonies and moments of silence to honor the fallen and recognize first responders and armed service members, as part of the National Day of Service and Remembrance.

Participants are needed to serve as builders, registrars and food-service volunteers. Two volunteer shifts are available: 8 a.m. to noon and 12:30 to 4 p.m. Lunch for all volunteers will be at noon.
