Stefanie Simeone and Jeffrey Riedy were united in marriage by the Rev. Nicholas Shori during an afternoon ceremony Oct. 1, 2011, at St. Michael Church.

A reception took place at The Lake Club in Poland.

The bride is a daughter of Gaetano and Marisa Simeone of Niles.

Parents of the groom are Joseph and Kimberly Riedy of Sandusky.

The bride wore an ivory Italian silk-satin gown detailed with an intricate lace bodice with Swarovski crystals and pearl accents at the waist and lace appliqu s on the mermaid skirt.

Carla and Andrea Simeone, sisters of the bride, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Maria Pagano, the bride’s cousin; Kaitlyn Riedy, the groom’s sister; and Anne Marie Setting, Christine Gresko and Catherine Sipos. Emalea and Daniela Pagano were flower girls. The attendants wore midnight blue gowns.

Performing the duties of best man were Joshua Riedy, a brother of the groom, and Ryan Riesterer. Jude Riedy, the groom’s brother, and Jeremy Marshall, Brian Rex, Mark Rummer and Andrew Fantozz served as groomsmen. Liam Riedy, the groom’s nephew, was ring bearer.

The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Youngstown State University. She is employed by OhioHealth as a registered nurse case manager at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

The groom graduated from Baldwin-Wallace University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a technical recruiter for Quick Solutions in Westerville.

The couple honeymooned in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

They live in Dublin.
