Fraternity dinner will benefit charity

YOUNGSTOWN

Alpha Phi Delta Alumni will host a dinner Thursday at Boulevard Tavern, 3503 Southern Blvd., to raise money to donate to charity in memory of deceased Alpha Phi Delta brothers.

The dinner will be open to alumni members, and all proceeds will go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

St. Jude’s is having a nationwide walk in November in 90 cities including Youngstown, and participants will walk a certain number of miles and ask donors to match the amount with dollars. The alumni will sponsor undergraduate brothers to walk in memory of deceased Alpha Phi Delta brothers by using the money raised at the dinner to match the miles walked by the younger brothers.
