8th-graders to mentor 5th-graders on middle-school transition

BOARDMAN

A mentorship program for all Boardman fifth-grade students will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Boardman Center Middle School on Market Street across from Southern Park Mall.

During that time, eighth-grade students will meet with groups of the fifth-graders to ease the transition from elementary to middle school.
