Weathersfield trustees say 'no' to brine wells

Weathersfield Township trustees have approved a resolution opposing any brine injection wells in the township borders.

Trustee Chairman Steve Gerberry said trustees “will do anything to oppose” the wells.

Also Tuesday, trustees approved the lease/purchase of two new police cruisers and two trucks and approved a resolution to to help obtain funds to demolish three abandoned or vacant properties.
