“Grimm” (10 p.m., NBC): Season 2 of the freak show that is “Grimm” promises more trauma for detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli). Problem No. 1: Find a way to revive Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) from her cat-scratch coma.

Spanish festival

The second annual Youngstown Spanish Heritage Festival will be from noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday on East Federal Street between Market and Walnut streets.
The festival will include live entertainment, food, crafts, dance and with activities for all ages. The family-friendly event and is open to all.
Montana of Detroit, a Spanish rap artist, will perform Saturday. Bands will be Conjunto Riguena and Groupo Wepa. There also will be HBW wrestling.
On Sunday, there will be a talent show.

Session for writers

Area writers are invited to attend Monday Night Writers from 6 to 8 p.m. next Monday at Peaberry’s Cafe, 4350 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Led by author and professional writer Nancy Christie, the two-hour sessions will include both writing exercises and discussions on the creative and business aspects of writing. Those with “works-in-progress” are welcome to bring copies of their projects for comments and critiques from the group.

‘Twelfth Night’

Mahoning Valley Players will present “Twelfth Night” by William Shakespeare (and Friends) at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Morley Pavilion in Mill Creek MetroParks. This updated version of the comedy classic is MVP’s second production in coordination with the park.
Performances are free and open to the public. Donations are accepted.
MVP’s mission is to present accessible Shakespeare to the masses. The company strives to present classic theater with an updated twist.
