U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Niles, D-17th, author of “A Mindful Nation: How a Simple Practice Can Help Us Reduce Stress, Improve Performance, and Recapture the American Spirit,” will speak at 7 p.m. Monday at the Universal Cafe at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Youngstown, 1105 Elm St.

His topic will be “Mindfulness: A Paradigm Shift.”
