Jazz Quartet to interpret Sinatra at Milton concert

Lake Milton State Park’s Waterfront Amphitheater will be the site Saturday for an evening under the stars featuring The YSU Jazz Quartet.

The quartet performers include faculty members of the YSU Jazz Studies Program: Jeff Bush, trombone; Kent Engelhardt, saxophone; Dave Morgan, bass; and Glenn Schaft, percussion. The program will highlight songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Tony Bennett, as interpreted by the YSU Jazz Quartet.

Gates for the concert open at 6:30 p.m. The Amphitheater is at Lake Milton; follow the signs to the swim beach.

Jazz will fill the waterfront air with a lineup of talent for the evening. The musicians have played with such greats as Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey and Harry Connick Jr.

Fine wine and great food will be available for purchase. A variety of wine from around the world will be offered, as well as fine dining prepared by The Fifth Season Restaurant.
