Proceeds to aid cancer patient

Chani Himes, a 2005 Hubbard High School and 2010 YSU graduate, is undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

A benefit to help with medical expenses will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Refuge Ministries Inc., 1155 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, where tickets are being sold for $15.

The fundraiser will include Zumba, a car wash, a bagged lunch, raffles and kids’ activities.

The Gentry Catering of Hubbard has donated the food.

Everything except Zumba may be purchased separately.
