Lisbon resident to sign his book

SALEM

R.J. Theiss, a Lisbon resident and author, will greet visitors and sign copies of his book, “Surprise Surprise” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Salem Historical Society, 208 S. Broadway Ave.

The book is the true story of Shawn M. Theiss and his passion for aviation.

Handy with mechanics and drafting at a very young age, Shawn would go on to forge a cutting-edge aviation technology company.

From the time he built his first plane and made it fly, to competing in design and engineering competitions, Shawn made his mark in the aviation industry.
