Jessica Powers, Gary Knittle to wed in August

Charles and Paula Powers of Salem are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Erlene Powers, to Gary Lee-Ray Knittle. The prospective groom is the son of Terry and LuAnn Knittle of Canfield. The couple reside in Poland.

Canfield Presbyterian Church will be the setting for the couple’s Aug. 18 ceremony. Invitations will be extended for a reception at The Embassy in Boardman.

Miss Powers is pursuing a degree in psychology from Kent State University.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and a bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University. He is a high school social studies teacher and coach for Liberty Local Schools.
