Boardman library branch to close for a week

BOARDMAN

The Boardman public library branch, 7680 Glenwood Ave., will be closed for one week beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday for replacement of an air conditioning unit.

The branch will reopen at 9 a.m. Aug. 20. Book and media drops outside the branch will be available while it is closed, but overdue fines for items borrowed from the Boardman branch will not accrue during this time.

The $53,000 replacement is being performed by Diversified Comfort Services Inc. of New Middletown.
