UPDATE: New owner of RG Steel plans to revive Warren mill

WARREN — The new owner of the RG Steel plant in Warren plans to try and revive the facility.

Chuck Betters, owner of C J Betters Enterprises of Monaca, Pa., confirmed in an interview today that he was the high bidder.

After the next two or three weeks when closing is complete, Betters said he and his investors will review the facility and come up with a plan.

"If there's a way to get it restarted we'll do it," Betters said.
