Father of Pa. first lady Susan Corbett dies at 90

PINE GROVE, Pa. (AP) — The Pennsylvania governor’s office says the 90-year-old father of first lady Susan Corbett has died at his home in Pine Grove.

The governor’s office said today that Lewis Manbeck was a dentist for years in Schuylkill County.

The World War II Army Air Corps veteran died Tuesday, and funeral services are private.

Gov. Tom Corbett calls his father-in-law a kind man who “never had a cross word to say about anyone.”
