Surplus food

Rising Star Baptist Church, 2943 Wardle Ave., Youngstown, in conjunction with Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley, will have a fresh-produce giveaway, 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the church. Residents should bring ID and containers.

Food-distribution notices are to be submitted by 3 p.m. the day before they are to be published.
