Scholarship fundraiser to occur at Alberini’s

The Youngstown Air Reserve Station Base Community Council in conjunction with Youngstown State University are planning the third biannual “Splendor in the Glass” fundraising event from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 30 at Alberini’s Restaurant.

This event helps fund the Youngstown Air Reserve Base Community Council Scholarship Fund. The council plans to award two $2,500 YSU scholarships.

Tickets are $100 per person or $175 per couple. Reservations are due Sept. 24. The event will include food and wine, music, and a silent and basket auction.
