RG Steel auction today in NYC

WARREN — RG Steel in Warren is scheduled for auction today at 10 a.m. in New York City.

The auction had been scheduled for last week, but it was delayed to allow the company to identify a lead bidder for the auction for the Warren and Sparrows Point Mill.

According to federal court filing, there has been no change in the sale time and no “stalking horse” or lead bidder has been identified.

There are more than 1,000 employees at the Warren facility who have been laid off since the facility began a process of shutting down after completing orders in June. RG Steel filed for bankruptcy May 31.
