Collins fund awards 5 scholarships
SEBRING
The C.M. (Jerry) Collins Memorial Scholarship Fund is an endowed permanent scholarship fund established by friends of Jerry Collins to provide educational tuition assistance to Copeland Oaks and Crandall Medical Center employees, their children and spouses.
This year, five $1,000 scholarships have been awarded to: Robert Cameron, John Carroll University; Jeffrey Farkas, Robert T. White School of Nursing; Alexandra Greenwald, Kenyon College; Tommi Haidet, Kent State University; and Caitlin (Lewis) Reash, University of Mount Union.
Collins ran a variety of small businesses in the Sebring area.
