Quentin Jones enters guilty pleas in 2011 homicides
YOUNGSTOWN — Quentin Jones, originally charged with two counts of murder in a double homicide on the city’s North Side last summer, has pleaded guilty to lesser charges.
Jones, 24, of Jackson Street, pleaded guilty to counts of voluntary manslaughter with firearm specifications in the murders of Jasmon Reeder, 19, of Superior Street, and Oscar Teague, 56, of Wirt Avenue in August 2011.
The plea was entered today before Judge John Durkin of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court. Jones will be sentenced Sept. 5.
