Public's help sought to locate fugitive with Youngstown ties

YOUNGSTOWN — The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information leading to the capture of a fugitive with Youngstown connections.

Jason Weatherly, 27, is wanted by U.S. Marshals for violating conditions of his supervised release. Weatherly was originally charged with conspiracy to deal firearms in 2008 when he tried to sell guns to an undercover agent.

Weatherly is a black male standing nearly 6 feet tall and weighing 220 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Weatherly has family in the Brook Park area and Youngstown and may be hiding with them, task force officials said.

Weatherly has a previous address near the 600 block of Willis Avenue.
