Man drives to hospital after shooting

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Pittsburgh police say a man who was wounded drove his bullet-riddled car to a hospital after a shooting at a city housing project.

Police have not immediately release the name of the victim who reported being shot while driving through the Northview Heights Estates about 3 a.m. today.

Police say the man was hit by three shots before he drove himself to Allegheny General Hospital.

The man’s condition was not immediately available.

Police haven’t said whether they have any suspects, but say surveillance video shows the man’s car driving away from the housing project. Police have been reviewing the video to see if it captured any images of the shooting, too.
